
We’ve been working on all kinds of goodies to heal burnout these past few months: digital courses, recordings of affirmations and meditations, and even an eBook. And during that time, we noticed a pattern in our inbox. We kept getting the same question over and over:

So, we stopped everything we were doing, and created a straightforward, self-paced course that will guide people to the answer that is right for them. The “Quit with Confidence” course teaches a simple, 5-step framework that first helps you answer the looming question of whether to stay at the job that is burning you out. It may be you just need changes at work to bring things back into balance – you’ll explore this in Step 1.
If you do decide that it’s time to resign from your position, in Step 2, you’ll figure out what you want to do next. Often, people are pretty sure they want to leave, but stay stuck in place because they don’t know where to take their career. Step 2 solves this problem.
Then, in Step 3, you’ll build an action plan with a timeline to get to where you want with clarity and confidence. This also increases the chances of follow-through – science shows that writing down a plan significantly increases success rates of reaching life goals.
Steps 4 and 5, respectively, help you manage the complicated emotions that will come up for you, and build a support team of at least one cheerleader (you’ll even learn how to be your own cheerleader!). These steps are important because they help make scary change more doable and easeful, and also increase the chances of overall success. When the big emotions come up, it can be pretty tempting to just say “never mind” and stay in your current job – but the final 2 steps help you overcome your fears and doubts.
